Simple Baked Oatmeal Breakfast Recipe with Fresh Fruit

This simple baked oatmeal recipe with fresh fruit is a healthy, delicious breakfast that's easy to prepare and perfect for kids.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Cup Fruit

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF and place a 8x10" baking dish with butter in the oven. Allowing butter to melt.
  • Mix all your ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  • Once butter has melted remove the pan from the oven and place your fresh fruit of choice in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Pour your oatmeal batter over the fresh fruit.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until fruit is bubbling and oats are beginning to brown.
  • Allow baked oatmeal to cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve with a topping of milk or cream.

Notes

Add additional egg whites or a scoop of collagen peptides or protein powder to oatmeal batter for a protein packed breakfast.
